February meetup: Conflict Management -The four horsemen of the apocalypse

Conflicts are a major cause of stress whether at home or at work. Tricia will be discussing conflict management using a model from relationship counselling (“The four horsemen of the apocalypse” from Gottman). She will discuss how this relates to all relationships whether they are personal or in the workplace. You will have a chance to consider your approach to conflict and some potential avenues to improve your outcomes.
6.30-7:00pm: Arrive and meet other attendees and members of the Ethical Reading team
7:00-7:05pm: Welcome and introduction
7:05-7:20pm: Talk by Tricia Phillips
7:20-8:30pm: Roundtable discussion
8:30pm: For those who wish, please feel free to continue conversations after the formal end of the meetup
Speaker: Tricia Phillips
Tricia has many years of experience in HR in a wide range of industries. Her clients include both large companies such as NHS, Vodafone, NEC and BP and small companies such as estate agents and chiropractors as well as individuals. Tricia also is a qualified relationship and career counsellor. She brings key skills and experience to conflict management, mediation and coaching.
